Music deserves to be celebrated and appreciated, regardless of commercial success. Which is why we founded the PNW Music Awards, to celebrate and honor the music made by the incredible artists in our own backyard.
Selected by a panel of fellow music community members - producers, venue owners, radio programmers, music store owners, promoters, and of course other musicians - the Nominees and Winners of the PNW Awards are a testament to some of the incredible work that continues to come out of Oregon and Washington.
Local music is a pillar of the industry as a whole, and the bright, blooming, vibrant, and diverse music scene of the Pacific Northwest deserves to be appreciated!

What is the voting process?
An official Voting Panel, comprised of a variety of local musicians, music industry professionals, and music fans, will volunteer to help select the Nominees and Winners in each category. For a complete breakdown of our voting process, please see our Official Guidelines.
Who is eligible to be nominated?
Music released between August 1st 2023 and July 31st 2024 by musicians residing full time in Oregon or Washington at the time of the music’s release. For complete eligibility requirements, please see our Official Guidelines.
Can I volunteer to help?
Absolutely! We’ll begin looking for volunteer voting panel members come spring, and some other really cool spots as well later in the year! Sign up to receive news and updates to be notified when sign ups are open!
What do we win?
Winners will receive a coveted golden microphone statuette and certificates for each individual credited on the project. Each category winner will also receive one prize pack with a plethora of awesome items donated in-kind from our partners and sponsors!
What are the PNW Music Awards?
The PNW Music Awards are a not-for-profit event focused on the acknowledgement and celebration of excellence in music by and for the music community of Oregon and Washington. It is an endeavor to publicly praise and honor hard work, dedication, skill and passion for local artistry, as well as encourage future music makers.

When do the awards take place?
Music submissions open June 1st, and the live awards show is in November!
